MUMBAI: Abby Awards 2003, the 36th all India awards for creative excellence, organised by the Advertising Club Bombay, will be aired on Saturday, 19 April 2003 at 9.30 pm on MAX. Sony Entertainment Television was the sponsor of the Abbies for the fourth time in a row.

Abby awards were held on 16 March 2003 at Mumbai's Hotel Tulip Star. Watch India's advertising fraternity rub shoulders with Bollywood (Aamir Khan, Preity Zinta, Kabir Bedi), Tollywood (Aparna Sen, Riya Sen) and ramp "glam" queens (Sheetal Mallar, Katrina Kaif, Anupama Varma).

Abby 2003 literally rocked as McCann Erickson (six points) with its thanda matlab Coca Cola stole the best campaign of the year (gold) right under the noses of the "agency of the year" Ogilvy and Mather (28 points) which won silver for Amaron batteries and Perfetti's Center-Shock chewing gum.
