ETC Punjabi has an elaborate plan to celebrate Baisakhi this year. The auspicious date, that also marks the launch announcement of ETC Punjabi two years back, will be celebrated by the channel with telecast popular Punjabi musical extravaganza- Aayi Baisakhi- on Sunday, 13 April at 7:30 pm.

The four-hour musical event starring Punjabi pop stars like gud nal ishq mittha fame Malkit Singh, Sarabjeet Cheema, Ashok Mastie, Sardool Sikander, Pammi Bai, Hardev Mahinangal and Amrita Virk with famous comedian Bhagwant Maan as the compere, was first ever to be aired live on ETC Punjabi earlier. According to an official release, the same show will be re-telecast on popular demand in two parts.

While the first part will be aired on the occasion of Baisakhi, the second part will be telecast on the following Sunday, 20 April at 7.30 pm.

Musical fanfare aside, ETC Punjabi has some salve for soul as well. The channel will also be airing the Baisakhi celebration held in Sri Anandpur Sahib on 13 April 2000; initially telecast live telecast on ETC Hindi.
