Coming Sunday 13 April 2003, viewers can watch the action at the English FA Cup semi finals live from Birmingham, says an official release.

Starring the star strikers like Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and James Beattie, the battle between four teams to ensure their spot in the English soccer grand finale should be an exciting match. The defending champions 'the Gunners' aka Arsenal will take on Sheffield's United at 17:35 pm, while the Southampton will clash with Watford at 20:45 pm. As for the finals on 17 May, the sports channel are keen on airing them live too, adds the release.

Football aside, there is going to be some action from the cricket pitch as well, including the currently aired Sharjah Cup, the sports channel will telecast the Morocco Cup held in August, Champions Trophy in November and may more international matches.

The channel will air some action from the racing track as well. Along with the regular WWE, eight hours a week, there will be Mumbai Racing, Dubai World Cup and the Derby and Ascot from England.
