Star World to air 'Party in the Park' next week

Star World will telecast Party In The Park For The Prince's Trust 2002, the summer music extravaganza from London's Hyde Park on 13 September at 6:30 pm and 10 pm.

Among the heavyweight talent scheduled to appear are Enrique Iglesias, the biggest-selling Spanish language artist in the world, Shakira - the sultry Colombian songstress', Blue, London-based four-piece, Westlife, Darren Hayes, Natalie Imbruglia, Michelle Branch, Ja Rule & Ashanti and Wyclef Jean.

This special concert will benefit The Prince's Trust, set up by HRH The Prince of Wales to offer opportunities to young people when no one else will. Through a variety of programmes across the UK, The Trust works with 14 to 30 year olds who are unemployed or face other barriers in life, providing support and basic financial assistance to help them learn new skills, get into work and start businesses.

Last year Geri Halliwell regaled crowds with her raunchy stage antics, the boys from Blue performed live for the first time before a crowd of 100,000 and Jamiroquai returned to treat Hyde Park to an awesome performance.

Talk Asia is a half-hour regional chat show broadcast every weekend, featuring celebrity interviews, topical discussion and personal insight highlighting Asia’s leading business, political and entertainment personalities, including golf superstar Tiger Woods, Bollywood director Ashutosh Gowarikar and star Amitabh Bachchan.
