Ten Sports will telecast No Mercy, a World Wrestling Entertainment
(WWE) special, on 10 November, 2002 at 5:00 pm.
The
matches to look out for include the Triple H v/s Kane for the World
Heavyweight Championship and the WWE brawn Brock Lesnar, ( champion
of Summerslam 2002) confronting Undertaker for the WWE Championship
in his 'Hell in the Cell' match.
The other matches scheduled include finals for the World Tag Team
Championship between Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle v/s Edge and Rey
Mystrio.
Apart from the telecast, the channel is also sponsoring the Raw
tour of
India, starting 21 November. Full page ads in leading newspapers
have been heralding the event which will give the wrestling fans
a chance to witness the pulsating action live.
The matches will be held in the three metros - Delhi, Mumbai and
Bangalore on 21, 22 and 23 November respectively. The tickets have
been priced at Rs 450, Rs 950 and Rs 3000.
Along with exclusive telecast of WWE, the channel's programming
line up features all the live action of the Formula One races, Classic
India-Pakistan Cricket, the Sharjah Cup and the Sharjah Champions
Trophy as well as all international cricket from Sri Lanka. the
channel will also broadcast other popular sporting events like JK
Go-Karting Championship, JK Road Racing Championship, Telefonica
World Series, The English FA Cup, Manchester United Football and
the WTA (professional women's tennis).
