Popular singer Sapna Awasthi is etc's Pop Ki Aandhi this month. Awasthi will talk about her accomplishments in Bollywood and about her personal achievements and disappointments in life.

Pop Ki Aandhi is a special slot, dedicated to the musicians in news for some of their latest work. In this special slot every month, etc features one musician for each of the two fortnights. etc is featuring singer Sapna Awasthi for the second half of November. She will take viewers on her musical journey on 29 November at 8.30 pm.

Awasthi is known in Bollywood for her numbers Pardesi-Pardesi and Chaiyan Chaiyan. Sapna, who is a Visharad in music - a five year course in music from Lucknow University, had begun professional singing in 1990. Later, she started playback singing for films. Her first film song was Banno Teri Ankhiyaan for Dushman. Her latest trophy is the Khallas song from the movie Company.

Sapna Awasthi is currently in the news with her latest album Kahin Diya Jale Kahin Jiya. Penned by Arun Bhairav, it explores the range of emotions through different songs. In all, Kahin Diya Jale Kahin Jiya has eight tracks.
