CNN has announced that its latest episode of Talk Asia features
pop singer Kylie Minogue. The show hosted by Lorraine Hahn airs
on 16 November at 8 pm with a repeat on 17 November at 5 pm and
18 November at 9 am and 7 pm.
From tomboy to sex kitten, Kylie has continually reinvented herself
throughout her 15 years in show business. With her latest album
Fever topping the charts and securing her a position as a
global pop star, the award-winning singer reveals to CNN that “the
ecstasy of added fame is something that I hadn’t really counted
on.”
Calling herself a “glitter hippy”, the Australian pop princess
talks about the real person behind the sexy stage performer, she
also discusses her fame and the effect it has had on her personal
life. Success as a singing sensation is not enough for Kylie, in
this interview she also chats about how she is branching into her
own clothing and lingerie line.
The channel has also announced that CNN Pespectives will
examine the implications of trying to remove Saddam Hussein from
power. Hard questions America and the world needs to consider, as
the Bush administration seriously considers making Iraq the next
