National
broadcaster Doordarshan will be telecasting a biographical
documentary on the Kanchi Sankaracharya.
The documentary titled, The Sage of Kanchi will dwell
on the life and times of the sage. The film, produced by
the South Indian Education Society (SIES), on the occasion
of the 109th Jayanti of the late Sankaracharya of Kanchi
Sri Chandrashekarendra Saraswati will air on 2 June at 6:30
pm.
