'The Oprah Winfrey Show' ends May by focussing on issues affecting women

Talk show icon Oprah Winfrey will deal with women in her show which airs Mondays to Fridays at 10:30 am on Star World.

On 27 May, Oprah will deal with 'What younger and older women think about sex'. Baby boomers and Generation X-ers will display contrasting attitudes on the subject. On 28 May, psychologist Dr. Phil helps spouses who have let themselves go as things are looking gloomy.


29 May sees the audience discussing the all important question 'When should I have a baby?' Experts have warned that the chances of a woman successfully getting pregnant start to wane once she reaches her late 20s. Many women in their 30s and 40s find out that the chance is gone forever. On 30 May in the 'Book Club Section', Sula by Toni Morrison will take centrestage. Interestingly, a few years ago, Oprah Winfrey starred in a film based on Morrisons novel Beloved. Finally, on 31 May, pop singer Cher makes a special appearance on the show.
