Responding
to a report posted yesterday headlined "ESPN
Star Sports to present British Open golf in July"
stating that ESPN Star Sports has secured cable and satellite
rights to the prestigious British Open to be held from 18
July to 21 July at the Muirfield Golf Links, East Lothian,
Scotland, Ten Sports has issued a clarification.
"They (ESPN Star Sports) may well be airing this event in
other parts of Asia, but Ten Sports holds exclusive rights
in India," Ten Sports CEO Chris McDonald said today.
