Movie channel HBO too seems to have realised that the weekends
are the only time bands left untapped for grabbing eyeballs.
The channel, which recently announced blockbusters would
be aired Saturday and Sunday nights, has decided to introduce
a Sunday afternoon block of hit films.
HBO Sunday Treat at 2.30 pm, will feature horror
flicks, romantic films and more, all targeted at hooking
the viewer lounging at home over the weekend. On 7 July,
the channel features Monster, starring Angela Keep
and Tobias Mehler, in which a fictional monster comes to
life every three years. On 14 July, Stuart Little
makes his appearance once again on the channel, while Practical
Magic, a romantic tale starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole
Kidman will be aired on 21 July.
On
28 July, a guardian angel takes a young soul having second
thoughts about being born on a one-day test-run of life
on earth to convince him that it is worth the effort in
the heart warming Delivering Milo, starring Albert
Finney and Bridget Fonda.
