Scuba diving enthusiasts are going to have a gala time on
the National Geographic Channel (NGC) this week on 'The
Men of Nat Geo: The Deeper Blue: A Freediver's Story'.
A
Freediver's Story, airs on 19 June at 9 pm and on 20
June at 1am.
NGC follows one of the most accomplished and daring divers
in the scuba diving world, Trevor Hutton as he attempts
to break the world record by diving a mammoth 245 feet beneath
the surface. This is said to be double the normal depth
that recreational scuba divers go to in a single breath.
Trevor is widely recogonised as a 'human fish'. He has the
reputation of achieving incredible depths without the use
of any breathing devices or swimming aids.
