Bhangra
pop lovers can latch on to ETC this fortnight for a glimpse
on the life of Daler Mehendi on Pop Ki Aandhi this
week.
The show is split into two parts with the first airing on
21 June at 7:30 pm with a repeat telecast on Tuesday at
1 pm. The second part will be telecast on 27 June at 7:30
pm with a repeat telecast on Tuesday at 7:30 pm.
Pop Ki Aandhi is a slot on the music channel wherein
a famous musician, currently in the limelight, appears and
talks about his or his life, struggles, ambitions, achievements
and professional growth. The show also reveals little known
facts of the pop stars' lives to their fans.
In his first part, Daler talks about his aspirations, his
struggles and his eventual entry onto the music scene. He
takes viewers down memory lane when he used to drive a taxi
in America and traces his rise as a singer. In the second
show, he recalls his childhood and his metamorphosis into
a serious artiste.
