World has launched Fast Track, a new weekly global
round-up of travel news for the leisure and business sectors.
Presented by Gwenan Edwards, the 15 minute programme features
reports from around the world, interviews with leading players
within the industry, analysis of current trends in travel
and tips for people on the move.
The show will cover everything from eco-tourism to airline
security and will draw on the huge global newsgathering
resources of the Beeb, say BBC officials. Among the reports
included in the new series are those about the Bahamas,
Montreal, the US cruise industry weathering the post 11/9
scenario, and airport business lounges.
