Australia's
test cricket captain Steve Waugh will appear this weekend
on CNN's Talk Asia.
According to an official release, the show is part of the
second in-country special in Australia. In an in-depth interview
with show anchor Lorraine Hahn, Waugh talks about his passions
on and off the field. Waugh talks about his views on Sachin
Tendulkar and other Indian cricketers and his various charity
initiatives in the country.
He also expresses his admiration for Mother Teresa and expounds
on playing test cricket in Kolkata. Talk Asia is
a half-hour regional chat show broadcast every weekend,
featuring celebrity interviews, topical discussion and personal
insight highlighting Asia’s leading business, political
and entertainment personalities.
The show airs on 27 July at 7 pm with repeats on 28 July
at 4 pm and 29 July at 8 pm.
