CNN's
music based show 'The Music Room' will showcase highlights
from the world's largest open-air music and arts festival
- England's Glastonbury Music Festival. The show will feature
highlights from top performances and will also scrutinise
the diverse and zany crowd attending the festival. The show
also goes behind the scenes, by talking to Glastonbury founder
Michael Eavis about how security issues were combated this
year. Artistes who performed included Coldplay, Garbage,
Air and Nelly Furtato.
The channel will also introduce viewers to two up-and-coming
bands Doves and Elbow from Manchester who played at Glastonbury.
Doves delves on the differences between their debut album
'Lost Souls' and their new release 'The Last Broadcast'.
The other band Elbow blends funk and progressive rock. ‘The
Music Room’ offers the latest information, interviews and
profiles of the day's hot artists and also brings to light
promising talents from around the globe.
The show airs tonight at 9:30 pm with repeats tomorrow at
1:30 pm and Sunday at 9:00 am and 9:30 pm.
