(Posted on 28 January 2002 11:25 am)

MTV India has launched the new edition of Fully Faltoo.

The spoof series revels in taking pot shots at shows and leading personalities using lookalikes. It has positioned itself as 'a deliciously delightful, inconsequential and beautifully put together rubbish' show.
The three-minute vignette spoofs feature songs, movie scenes, TV shows and news items.

The new edition of Fully Faltu that will run on the channel till 9 February features the Indian cricket team taking on the 'Badshahs' of Bollywood in a cricket match series titled 'Maidaan'. The spots will be aired from 2:00 pm to 3.00 pm with repeats between 8.00 - 9.00pm on MTV.

The cricket series sees the Bollywood ship being captained by a Aamir Khan lookalike. Team members resemble Amitabh, Dev Anand, Saif Ali Khan, Dharmendra, Shatrughan Sinha, Mithun Chakraborty and Shah Rukh Khan. The Indian cricket team is captained by a Saurabh Ganguly lookalike.

MTV bills the show as one that has suspense and tension laced with melodrama that one can laugh at. Tune in to get bowled out with loads of laughter.
