This Sunday at 9 pm the Hallmark channel will show Life with Judy Garland: Me and my shadow. Judy Davis has been nominated for a Golden Globe for playing the title role.

The film follows the star best known for her role in the classic film The Wizard Of Oz. The film starts with Garland getting the contact with MGM and how her mother made her childhood a misery.

The biopic is based on a memoir by her daughter Lorna Luft. It shows Garland's drug addiction as well as the fact that as a singer she felt inferior to jazz legend Billie Holliday. Garland died in 1969 at the age of 47.
