A week of romantic films on Max next week

Set Max has announced a series of films from 11 to 17 February to celebrate the spirit of being in love.


Govinda and Rani in Hadh Kar Di Apne

The action kicks off on Monday 9 pm with Hero No. 1 starring Karisma Kapoor, PareshRawal and Kader Khan. The film tells the story of love within a family. The next day Hadh Kar Di Apne features Govinda playing a man who wants to turn his hobby of being a detective into a profession. Rawal and Kader Khan. Darr on Valentine's day offers a change of scene. Inspired by the Hollywood scare flick Cape Fear, it stars Shahrukh Khan as the bad guy whose obsession with Juhi Chawla threatens her marriage to Sunny Deol. Classic cinema comes in the form of Barsaat on 16 February. Written by Ramanand Sagar, the film launched the careers of Raj Kapoor and Nargis. It tells the simple story of two friends who have divergent views of what love is.

The Valentine's week mega movie is Dream Girl with Hema Malini, Dharmendra and Prem Chopra. Made in 1977, the music has been composed by A.A. Raj.
