In a purported endeavor to promote Hindustani music, etc is launching a new programme Kashish.

Kashish will also offer a brief introduction to the universe of Ghazals, its artistes, its myriad moods, its birth and its growth.

This first ever Ghazal programme on etc will start the telecast from March 3, 2002 at 1:00 pm in the afternoon and will be telecast every Sunday at 1:00 pm.

Commenting on Kashish, Pradeep Dixit, CEO of ETC Networks Ltd. says: “etc has always taken pride in promoting the programmes that are culturally and traditionally rich. Ghazal is also a heritage of Hindustani classical music. We are happy to introduce Kashish for the viewers of etc. It will be yet another landmark programme from the channel.”
