If you missed the Filmfare awards on Sony last Saturday, don't fret.

Sister channel Max has announced that it will retelecast the 47th edition on 24 February at 1 pm. The Filmfare Awards claim to be the Hindi film industry's answer to Hollywood's Academy Awards.

The show's highlights include international group Right Said Fred belting out its popular hits. The show was hosted by Archana Puran Singh and Javed Jafferi. Ex-James Bond Swiss actress Ursula Andres gave Yash Chopra the Swiss Government Award for promoting Switzerland in all his films.

There were the usual song and dance routines by Arjun Rampal & Diya Mirza, Fardeen Khan & Urmila Matondkar, Akshay Kumar and Bipasha Basu. The highlight of the evening was Lagaan bagging seven awards including the ones for film, director and actor. Lagaan, which is being distributed by Sony is up for a best picture Oscar in the foreign language category. Amitabh Bachchan bagged the Critics Award-Best Actor for Aks.
