Every month music channel etc introduces a debutant artiste to its viewers through its platform Taaza Maal. In the new year, etc is presenting Zayed Khan as Taaza Maal for the month of January. Zayed who is Sanjay Khan's son is making his début in the film industry with Sangeeth Sivan directed film Chura Liya Hai Tumne.

Zayed will appear first on 3 January at 8.30 pm. The show repeats on 7 January at 6 pm. The second show of Zayed Khan will telecast on 8 January 2003 at 7.30 pm with a repeat on 9 Janaury at 1.30pm..

Zayed has done one year of foundation course from London Film School and later specialised in acting and direction. "This was a great learning since it gave me the overview of film making. But coming back to India I had to watch and closely observe the film making for one and a half year before I took the plunge as an artiste, since here style of industry is very different," says he about his initial experience in the industry.

Zayed has learnt martial arts to deliver his own stunts. "So many times the director would tell me not to do the stunt since it was very risky and they would be scared for me. But I insisted and did almost all the stunts myself," he reveals.
