Plus is planning a re-run of Sea Hawks, an action-packed
drama on the high seas from 24 August. The 7 pm Saturday
show, Sea Hawks will star the guardian of the seas,
the Indian Coast Guards, a multi-mission independent armed
force. Shot in the exotic locales of Mauritius, Goa, Daman
and Lakshadweep, the UTV show promises to have action and
wit laced with tender emotions.
The
show comprises action on the high seas, gun battles between
terrorists and the Coast Guards, big-time mafia syndicates
versus the dare devil guardians of the sea. Sea Hawks also
has the drama of kidnapping, cops fighting a lone battle
with an ailing wife back home and rival mafia groups dealing
in smuggling of leathal weapon and drugs.
The drama on the high sea stars Om Puri, R Madhavan, Nikki
Aneja, Milind Soman, Simone Singh, Leelawar Tendulkar, Manoj
Pahwa and the rest. The serial is directed by Anubhav Sinha.
