CNN's
weekend line up will include a special edition of Inside
Asia that focuses on the Ramon Magsaysay Awards this
Saturday.
The show will profile all award winners in six categories
- Community Leadership, Emergent Leadership, Government
Service, Journalism, Literature, and Creative Communications
Arts, Peace and International Understanding, and Public
Service.
The winners of the 2002 Ramon Magsaysay Awards include Dr.
Cynthia Maung and India's Sandeep Pandey, a believer in
Gandhian thinking who won the ‘Emergent Leadership’ award
in recognition of his leadership in the area of learning.
Hosted by Veronica Pedrosa, Inside Asia is a half-hour
current affairs programme produced at CNN’s Asian headquarters
in Hong Kong. The weekend show provides viewers with an
inside look at economic, social and cultural affairs and
trends in the Asia Pacific region.
The show airs tomorrow at 8:30 am with a repeat on Sunday
at 7:30 pm Hong Kong time.
