This weekend Chairman and CEO of media conglomerate Viacom
Sumner Redstone joins CNN’s 'Talk Asia' from Beijing following
his meeting with China’s President Jiang Zemin. Viacom's
numerous properties including Paramount Pictures, MTV, Nickelodeon,
Simon & Schuster and CBS.
Redstone began his working life cracking top-level Japanese
military codes during World War II before starting his business
career with National Amusements in 1954. At 79, the billionaire
media titan shows no signs of retiring as he pursues opportunities
for Viacom in China. In this half-hour, in-depth interview,
Redstone talks to host Lorraine Hahn about his passion for
the entertainment business and, in particular, his enthusiasm
for doing business in China. He also discusses his worldwide
businesses, his autobiography A Passion to Win and
his family life.
The
show airs 17 August at 9:30 pm with repeats on 18 August
