The Hallmark channel has announced that on 15 and 16 August
at 9pm it will air the movie Fidel. The film stars
Gael Garcia Bernal and Victor Hugo Martin who plays the
title role.
The film show how the famous cigar chomping general Fidel
Castro rose to power in Cuba. The miniseries follows a young
Fidel, from his impoverished childhood in the Oriete Province
to his imprisonment in Batista's jails for fomenting dissent
to his ultimate revolutionary triumphs in Cuba.
