Cartoon Network will enthrall toon lovers with 3D animation series

Cartoon Network has announced that it will spice up the Toonami programme franchise by introducing two cutting-edge 3-D animation series. Dan Dare and Beast Machines Transformers will launch on Saturday and Sunday respectively at 6 PM according to an official release.

Based on a British comic strip the character Dan Dare is a pilot. The series is set in a futuristic world where atomic powered rocket ships move around the solar system. Dan and his crew embark on intergalactic journeys as Earth’s envoys of peace. Serving as problem solvers they establish diplomatic relationships with other races and defuse possible threats to the human race.

The second series Beast Machines Transformers is a sequel to the popular Beast Wars series the release states.

The Toonami programe franchise was introduced last September. Popular series include Dragonball Z, Cardcaptors and Batman Of the Future.
