Karan Thapar will interview Neena Gupta on BBC World's Face to Face tonight at 10 pm.

The free wheeling interview touches upon the leading TV actor turned director's childhood, her relationship with Viv Richards, their daughter Masaba and the various people who have touched her life.

Gupta, who began her life with teleserial Khandaan in 1982, admits in the interview that she is a rather weak person, despite her portrayal of bold women on screen. She has also spoken about her ambition to direct a film, which she says she has already signed up with a producer, and is slated to be a plain love story.

The Neena Gupta interview is part of BBC World India's new Face to Face series which unveils leading TV personalities.
