Jassi in a live-in relationship!

Shveta Salve, Achint Kaur and their ilk have company. Jasvir Kaur (aka Smriti of Ekta Kapoor's K.Street, Pali Hill) is in a live-in relationship which is one year old this Valentine's Day.

Jasvir Kaur - living-in style!

The long-legged beauty of K.Street, Pali Hill is living in with Aziz. Remember the guy who was paired with Mini Tiwari in Uuf Kya Jadoo Mohabbat Hai which fared disastrously at the turnstiles? He's the lucky one, whom Jassi shares an apartment with.

"We stay at Mira Road. My parents stay in Andheri. As for his parents, they are from Dubai; they keep shuttling between here and Dubai," says the girl who presently finds herself sandwiched between Drone and Raunak in the serial.

When and where did she meet Aziz? "We met a little before we started living-in. Things happened fast. We first set our eyes on each other on the sets of Uuf Kya Jadoo Mohabbat Hai.

I was assisting Terrence Lewis then. I have worked with other choreographers too- Raju Khan, Farah Khan, Saroj Khan and Ganesh Hegde," she rewinds.

"Soon, there were days when I was with him till late. I used to call up my mother to explain. At times in anger, she used to shoot back 'You are already so late. Why return home at all?'

These days, my shooting hours are pretty hectic, often going into the wee hours. That leaves me with hardly any time to travel from Andheri to Mira Road and meet

He too is getting busy; he has a couple of southern films. A few days down the line, we decided that we were mature enough to stay together. We are sure that we are committed to each other," she adds.

Jassi has been shooting quite a bit in the recent past. "At times, I haven't gone home till the next day. I keep joking that I own a two-and-half crore K.Street mansion," she chuckles.

Back to the live-in relationship. Parental objection? "At first, their eyes did become very, very wide. But slowly, they understood that not only were we unable to stay away from each other but also that we had no spare time owing to our busy schedules.

We will get married, perhaps soon. We started living-in only post our engagement. I love Valentine's Day. It's very special. Aziz and I kicked off our live-in relationship on Valentine's Day last year," Jassi signs off, smiling.

Really, uuf kya jaado mohabbat hai!
