Prratima to turn tables a la 'Beta's Madhuri!

Well, not the dhak dhak bit, but Sahara One's Prratima protagonist is soon to turn from timid bahu to fire breathing virago. All in an effort to bring the vicious in-laws to heel, just like Madhuri Dixit did in Beta.

The story hence goes thus - Prratima (Jyoti Mukherjee) will be turned out of the house when the Durga puja idol turns out to have an uncanny resemblance to her face, and the idol maker is accused of having an affair with the lady.

Amol (Anuj Saxena), stunned by the development, leaves the house in a dazed state, but is coaxed back into the house by his mother. Prratima, however, is not as lucky, has an accident, is rescued by the same idol maker and then returns to the house, but no longer the same person.

Sources say the story is then set for a proper high drama between Amol, Prratima and ma in law Sunanda. The buzz is that two new characters will be introduced in the show soon, one of whem is likely to be Sudha Chandran. The other negative role, says the buzz, was offered to Tassnim Sheikh who could not take up the offer as Balaji wants her regularly for Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
