He shares his name with one of the most humorous VJs on Indian television. And they were co-hosts on Cyrus vs. Cyrus on MTV. Sapana Patil spoke to one of them: Cyrus Sahukar on his hosting Business Baazigar on Zee TV.

You are a VJ. Would you be comfortable being a host of a serious show?

Hosting is not different from veejaying. I have hosted Roadies and also the talent hunt for Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi on MTV.

Will you be serious or humorous on 'Business Baazigar'?

Business Baazigar follows a module which requires me to be serious yet friendly, but certainly not humorous.

And on the sets, do you stay serious off screen too?

I am a prankster. My co-host, Sandhya Mridul carries a big basket wherever she goes. I keep eating fruits from this basket, without her knowledge!

By now, you too must have come up with some business ideas?
Oh yes! But unfortunately for me, they have all turned out flops.

Business ideas like what?

As I child, I thought of selling stuff at everyone's doorstep. But by the time I grew up, people got fed up of salesmen. Now, I thought of people could hire someone to water the plants at their house. But I found that people didn't need someone to water their plants. They did it themselves. My ideas died an unnatural death.

Who is your favourite host?

Cyrus Broacha. He is the most underused creative genius. I also like Gaurav Kapoor and Sudhir.

Do you miss Cyrus Broacha on Business Baazigar?

Yes. There is no one to serve us tea!
