Lost!

They are still counting the losses. Television actors, caught unawares in last week's deluge, are just realising what they lost in the waters.

Anuraddha Prasad, BAG Films' managing director, who spends a large part of her time in Mumbai these days to oversee shooting for her Dekho Magar Pyar Se and other shows, was stuck in her office and dropped her cell phone in the water when she stepped out. "My entire database is messed up," she moans. Luckily, Anurradha was able to be on board the first flight out to New Delhi on Thursday morning.

I lost my Merc!:Ronit Roy

Ronit Bose Roy was not as lucky. Still in coma in Kasautii Zindagi Kay and battling domestic crises in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, he was stuck at Sankraman Studios for several hours and couldn't move his Mercedes to a safer location. His cell phone intact, all he could do was ensure that his families (including newborn Aadore) were safe and dry at home. The Merc meanwhile got completely submerged and is a complete state of disrepair!

Ajay Gehi was luckier. He quit the Miilee shoot early at MBC studios in Powai early on Tuesday afternoon, but his Honda City got stuck in the rising waters. Leaving it on the footpath outside a residential colony, he trudged for 18 hours till he reached his home in Shivaji Park in central Mumbai. In the shoulder deep waters he waded through alone, Ajay lost his wallet and mobile phone, and finds himself in a predicament similar

to Anurradha's. The City stayed fine, though, but Ajay now says," I think I shall sell off the car and buy myself a bicycle and ride it to and from work. Safer, and I will get my exercise too!"

Shraddha Nigam can say she's had one of her worst stranded

experiences ever. The actress who stars in Dekho Magar Pyaar Se had to leave her car behind after it got submerged on the fantasy land road. "I was traveling with my driver and make up man. It was such a traumatic experience; the water flow was so strong and thanks goodness for the people who helped us cross. At that time I couldn't care less about my car and just abandoned it. I spent the night at my make up man's place," recalls Shraddha.
Her father's Mitsibushi Lancer however did not survive the floods and has been left useless. "I'm glad he made it safe home at least!" She exclaims.

With a lot many of our beloved actors cumulating their losses, post the rain debacle, we wonder whether we should pull someone up for their fate.
