The cast of 'Remix' with Arshad Warsi

Arshad Warsi will appear on the sets of Remix to promote his forthcoming film, Kuch Meetha Ho Jaye. It is the first time that Star One is getting associated for the promotions of a Bollywood film.

The storyline goes like this --- Arshad, on his way to a shoot, searches for a cafeteria, not able to find one, he enters Maurya High to get a cup of coffee. His presence in the college canteen causes a stir amongst the youngsters as they gather to get a glimpse of the star. Arshad ends up giving the four lead characters tips about life and love. Yuvi and Anwesha, Ranveer and Tia thus end up acknowledging their love for each other.

This is a kind of publicity that was previously tried by introducing Saif Ali Khan in Sony's Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, to promote his film, Hum Tum. This kind of publicity might be helpful to reach a certain section of the audience that watches this serial which is primarily based on teen aches. But the reach of Star One as a channel could also be an important criteria here.

Only time will tell if promotional activities like these help the film to succeed in the box office or not!
