Lalitha Jewellery retains top spot among brands in BARC week 17

MUMBAI: The Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India has released its data for top advertisers and brands for the period between 20 April 2019 and 26 April 2019.

The data reflects top 10 advertiser and brands across genre on Indian television, including OOH screen, (U+R): 2+, Individuals NCCS All, demonstrating ads that were inserted the most in week 17 of 2019.

Top Advertisers:

Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Reckitt Benckiser (India) Ltd, and ITC are still holding tight to the top advertisers spot for the third consecutive week now with 152811, 91901, and 50700 ad insertions on TV, respectively.

Godrej Consumer Products Ltd also maintained its improved position on the fourth spot with 31024 ad insertions. Colgate Palmolive India Ltd stepped up a spot and ranked fifth in the week 17 BARC rankings with 23717 insertions.

Top Brands

BARC ratings of week 17 saw Lalitha Jewellery retaining its spot as the top brand with 15759 ad insertions on TV. It was followed by Dettol Toilet Soaps, which moved up three spots from number 5, ranking second with 10401 insertions.

Santoor Sandal and Turmeric also took a tremendous leap from past week’s seventh spot to rank third, with 10174 insertions. Godrej Expert Rich Creme Hair Colour slipped a spot from last week and ranked fourth with 9704 insertions. Trivago entered the top 10 list fresh, on fifth spot, with 9632 insertions.
