Shakti wins five awards at Dabur-sponsored Colors' event, telecast soon

MUMBAI: Colors celebrated the 5th Colors Golden Petal Awards in a star-studded event. As the entire Colors family came together to toast the best performers, the power was put in the hands of the viewers to select their all-round favorites.

The show on a transgender’s struggle for her identity, Shakti…Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii bagged five awards at the 5th Colors Golden Petal Awards. Viewers will get a chance to witness the magnificence of the 5th Colors Golden Petal Awards later this month on Colors.

Viewers were transported to a 'Snow Wonderland' at the event. With the theme being straight out of a fairy tale, the evening was a visual extravaganza that saw Bollywood and TV biggies such as Jacqueline Fernandez, Malaika Arora, Diljit Dosanjh, Mouni Roy, Rubina Dilaik, Juhi Parmar, Ssharad Malhotra, Salil Ankola, Sidharth Shukla, Jasmin Bhasin, Mohan Kapur, Adaa Khan, Sudha Chandran, Roshni Sahota, Helly Shah, Jigyasa Singh and many more walk the red carpet in their resplendent avatars.

The performances at the awards witnessed some of the viewers’ favorite television stars showcasing exhilarating acts which combined graphics and technology to create a high-tech 7D experience.

The evening was hosted by comical geniuses Farah Khan and Karan Johar, who were joined by Raghav Juyal and Rubina Dilaik. Bharti Singh and Manish Paul enthralled the audience with their impeccable comic timing not missing a single opportunity to poke fun at Karan Johar’s new dad status.

A night filled with a gamut of emotions, the Awards honoured actors and top-notch technically-sound experts from the fiction as well as the non-fiction genres for their incomparable contribution which has made Colors one of the most loved Hindi GECs on television. Winners for the evening include:
