Big Magic launches another mythological show 'Chakradhari Ajaya Krishna'

MUMBAI: Big Magic building on its success in the mythological band has recently launched a new show Chakradhari Ajaya Krishna. Following the popularity of the channel’s flagship show, Baal Krishna, this new show is unravelling the untold story of Krishna’s new phase of life in Mathura wherein a new challenge awaits him. With this new offering, the channel aims to engage viewers across age groups by amplifying the entertainment quotient for them. Child actors Bhavesh Balchandani and Harrsh Mehta essay the roles of Krishna and Balram, respectively. The show airs every Monday to Friday at 6pm on Big Magic.

Mythological shows have created a niche in today’s Indian television industry. Big Magic has successfully reached out to the audiences by delivering untapped stories of the mythological figures. The new show - ‘Chakradhari Ajaya Krishna,’ focuses on Krishna facing the powerful king of Magadh, Jarasandh. While seeking vengeance for his son-in-law Kans’ death, Jarasandh vows to kill Krishna-Balram. He also wants to erase the entire race of Yadavas, by killing every last Yaduvanshi. The intense struggle between Jarasandh and Krishna forms the crux of the new story.

In this good vs evil narrative, the channel aims to highlight the side of mythology that is left unsaid in our history. The show’s promotion is being driven by a 360-degree marketing approach, to reach out to the target markets through its various campaigns across TV, radio, on-ground and digital.

Commenting on this show, spokesperson of Big Magic said, “As a variety general entertainment channel, we at BIG Magic bring yet another story in the mythological genre that will entice a wider segment of audience. The previous show Baal Krishna garnered immense love from the audience and carved a niche for itself. This very fact made us bring back the successful show with a renewed take and provide variety in entertainment to our viewers. We thrive on being true to the content and aim to engage the audience by providing them with stories that are seldom spoken about. ‘Chakradhari Ajaya Krishna’ is a captivating story with an unexplored part of history that the audience will enjoy.”
