'The Bridge' draws to an end

MUMBAI: The critically acclaimed crime series ‘The Bridge’ has drawn to its end. The show had detectives Sonya Cross(Diane Kruger) and Marco Ruiz(Demián Bichir) coming together after a grotesque sequence of events . The two stalwarts embarked on a thrilling chase when they traced the footprints of a notorious serial killer. The show stars Academy Award nominee Demian Bichir and multi award winning actress Diane Kruger as lead actors.

When the body of an American judge is found on a bridge connecting El Paso, Texas, with Juárez, Mexico, the incident left tremors that shook both the countries. A serial killer is on the loose and the two detectives from radically different backgrounds and countries altogether, join hands to catch hold of him. As fierce opinion clashes between the two headstrong individuals occur, they need to put their differences aside for their quest for answers. They have to wade through a Mexican bureaucracy steeped in corruption and sinister Drug cartels with nefarious intentions in order to catch their culprit.

The penultimate episode threw some major benders our way where we witnessed Sonia and Hank (Ted Levine) on the prowl as they go their separate ways following a truck exchange.

The final episode promises shootouts, chases and intense action as the story draws near its fruition. The fate of Eleanour is also revealed when she confronts her depraved father. The thrilling end will be revealed in the finale episode on May 25 at 9 PM on FX.
