Mumbai: American romantic comedy-drama series Jane the Virgin is back with its Season 2 on Romedy Now, from July 21, 2016 at 7PM, Monday to Friday.

While Season 1 was exalted and critically acclaimed, Season 2 delves deeper into the emotions and complicated relationships of the protagonist, and promises a series of dramatic twists and turns that will enthrall the audience.

Season 1 of the series ended with Jane Villanueva (Gina Rodriguez) delivering the baby amidst much emotional turmoil and dealing with differing opinions of her mother and grandmother. Adding to it, is her latent confusion to stay with her boyfriend or marry the biological father of her child, who is already married. While Season 1 finale was a cliffhanger as Jane’s baby gets kidnapped, Season 2 kicks off with the investigation to find out who kidnapped baby Mateo and the thrilling drama of how Jane will find him.

The show stars Gina Rodrigues aka Jane; Justin Baldoni - Rafael, the biological father of baby Mateo; Brett Dier - Jane’s boyfriend in the show; Jamie Camil - Jane’s father and Andrea Navedo – Jane’s mother as the central characters.
