Bomanbridge Media and Omnifilm Entertainment announce partnership

MUMBAI: Singapore-based content distribution and production agency, Bomanbridge Media, announced it has sealed a representation agreement with Canada’s Omnifilm Entertainment Ltd. to be the exclusive Asian distributor for a selection of Omnifilm’s top factual programs. This is the largest factual distribution partnership deal in Asia for Omnifilm.

Bomanbridge will distribute premium factual titles such as Jade Fever, the Canadian Screen Award-winning docu-series following jade miners in British Columbia, Canada. The hit series was recently greenlit for a 3rd season on Discovery Canada. Also in the deal -- six seasons of the highly rated Ice Pilots about an eccentric airline and its motley crew that fly vintage planes on impossible arctic missions. The series also won a Canadian Screen Award for best Factual. In the fitness area, Bomanbridge will rep Omnifilm’s popular Namaste Yoga series which enjoys a strong worldwide community of fans on major social platforms. These shows join several other factual titles, representing 222 hours of programming

“Omnifilm is excited to team up with Bomanbridge in Asia. This is our largest distribution partnership ever in the region and we are confident that Sonia and her team will find great homes for our top factual programs. We believe that Asian viewers will come to love our shows, as they do in Canada and beyond,” said Tyson Gratton, Director of Business Development, Omnifilm Entertainment Ltd.

“Bomanbridge is thrilled to partner with such a prestigious and established company as Omnifilm. Their high quality, entertaining and informative, award-winning programs are sure to be well-received in Asia. We look forward to a long, fruitful partnership with Omnifilm,” said Sonia Fleck, CEO of Bomanbridge Media.

Namaste Yoga was sold to China on ICS (International Channel Shanghai), a channel run and owned by Shanghai Media Group.
