BANGALORE: Nvidia, the main sponsor for the Electronic Sports World
Cup (ESWC), has revealed that the gaming technologies to be displayed
include, the extreme high definition Nvidia Quad SLI systems running
the new Microsoft Flight Simulator title, Nvidis SLI for
notebooks, Microsoft Windows Vista gaming demos and systems built
around the Nvidia nForce 590 SLI motherboard and Intel Core Duo
2 processor.
At Palais Omnisports in Paris Bercy, Nvidia's
booth will be open to VIPs, journalists and competitors on 28 June from 9 am to
pm, and open to the public from 29 June to 2 July from 8 am to 9 pm. Plus,
handheld gaming gets serious with the Nvidia GoForce 5500 running Quake III, Need
for Speed Most Wanted, Avatar, Jump and Siege, informs an official release. Apart
from these, the seven main tournaments include Counterstrike, Counterstrike Women,
Quake IV, Trackmania Nations ESWC, Warcraft III, Gran Turismo 4 and Pro Evolution
Soccer 5. In addition, there will also be LAN parties, giveaways and gaming
pods running The Way It's Meant To Be Played titles, including Tomb
Raider: Legend, Titan Quest and Trackmania Nations ESWC. The Nvidia
and Intel's competition allows participants a chance to win the Quad SLI system.
