As per the agreement, Tavant will provide IT infrastructure, office space, payroll management and other back office services to Bandspeed. The Bangalore center will allow Bandspeed to scale their product development and engineering efforts by leveraging 24x7 design, support and test cycles and increase quality, informs an official release.

The Bandspeed Bangalore center aims to attract an experienced team of world-class developers to create products and solutions and deliver the benefits of enterprise-class Wi-Fi networks for the mass market, including fast, reliable connectivity; robust security; VoWLAN (voice over wireless LANs) and unsurpassed ease of deployment, use and management, all at an affordable price, adds the release.

The release also states that Bandspeed is focused on solving the Wi-Fi network challenges faced by the full spectrum of businesses, from small to large enterprises. India is the preferred choice of location for Bandspeed because it offers a huge pool of highly specialized, skilled talent, with the added advantage of lower costs.
