Electronics manufacturer Panasonic India has launched its Tau (T) FJ Series television sets.

They are available in two models TC-21FJ21C and TC-21FJ20C. Pnasonic claims that they enhance the viewing of DVDs. Equipped with a special DVD Input terminal, the new models accept signals from any DVD player in their original format thereby producing a crystal clear picture, sound and bringing to the viewer the complete DVD and personal cinema experience.

The new DVD component input accurately reproduces the original DVD signal and eliminates cross colour and dot crawl completely. This results in enhanced clarity, colour purity and resolution.

In the models the flat picture tube nullifies wrapping and distortion as against the conventional curved screens. The advanced Signal Velocity Modulation (VM) feature provides superior black-to-white transition and sharper edge definition.

The front facing dual speakers deliver high impact stereo sound and assure a high linear frequency response that translates into a deep bass, smooth mid-range and clear high-end. The 5 band Equaliser gives the viewer a choice of three preset sound settings to best match the kind of programme being watched. The use of advanced Psychoacoustic Bass Boost technology in its Virtual Hyper Bass circuit emphasises the frequencies that are normally too low for TV speakers to reproduce.
