Web-based television search and monitoring engine Critical Mention
has introduced a new product Critical TV with ClientTrak. This is
a pass-through billing option for PR agencies and service firms.
The company's Critical TV platform enables users to monitor, search
and view relevant television news clips. Now PR professionals are
able to automatically allocate each activity to specific clients
and
receive email statements immediately to expedite their billing process.
Clips can also be posted to a private video gallery, allowing agencies
to display recent coverage for their clients and colleagues to review.
Critical TV continuously monitors news broadcasts to alert subscribers
immediately after a company, competitor or other key word is spoken.
Users
can then log in to read the text and view the mention as well as
the adjacent minutes to understand its full context. If the clip
is worth sharing, users
can immediately send a link to the video clip to clients or coworkers,
as well as post the clip to a video gallery, order a hard copy,
or order a professionally written transcript of the coverage.
The company claims that Critical TV is being used by more than
100 clients, including Fortune
500 companies and market leaders in corporate communications, financial
services, professional services, non-profit and government industries.
Customers can choose between ClientTrak -- currently available only
to service firms -- and a flat monthly subscription tailored to
their expected usage.
