Phillips, IFilm's content partnership

Through a programming pact that could redefine the home entertainment experience, IFilm and Phillips have announced a partnership to provide consumers premium entertainment programming on Philips Streamium products.

Viewers can interact with the IFilm's selection of short form content including films, music videos, movie and video game trailers, Viral Videos and celebrity interviews in the comfort of their living room. The Philips' Streamium range of products provides the user with wireless access to their PC or enriched entertainment directly from Internet into the home.

IFilm is a video entertainment destination on the net. It offers channels of movies, short films, TV clips, video game trailers, music videos, and a "Viral Videos" collection. Through its distribution partners including Real Networks, WindowsMedia, Fandango and IGN/Rotten Tomatoes IFilm claims to reach over 20 million buzz-building visitors per month.

Under the new deal as well as having access to IFILM's massive library of the best short form entertainment content on the Web, Streamium users can connect to IFilm channels, updated in real time, which show them the most popular and fastest moving content across the whole IFilm network.

The immediacy of the Web plus the enormous reach of IFilm meets the simplicity and quality of TV.
Today, Phillips claims to offer a range products that enable consumers to wirelessly access and enjoy entertainment, information and services.
