| Cineworks Digital Studios Inc.'s recent expansion
requirements included the appropriate technology to keep pace with
their expanding operations. The premiere organization turned to Network
Electronics for a comprehensive, diversely configured router system
for its Miami, FL facility, says an official press release.
Cineworks Digital Studios Inc. is a motion picture processing laboratory,
video transfer and post-production house.
"When we opened in 2000 we had no router system at all, just
patch bays," said Cineworks director of engineering Carl Alessi.
"Since adding four rooms and recently our high definition
telecine room, our patchbays became overloaded and we simply ran
out of real estate in our racks. We researched companies and found
Network to have a very impressive client list and track record".
He added.
Cineworks' purchase included a significant complement of Network
Electronics' equipment, including: 64 x 64 and 16 x 16 analogue
video routers, 64 x 64 analogue balanced audio stereo routers, 32
x 32 digital audio, serial digital and data routers and ProXY multibus
x-y control panels.
Interconnecting all rooms in its facility, the VikinX system will
route signals including HD video, 601 digital video, composite video,
RGB component video, digital audio, analog audio, time code audio
and RS422 machine control.
