Immersive Media Sol. offers 3D processing technology

The 3D company and X3D technologies have inked an exclusive partnership with Immersive Media Solutions (IMS) to create 3D content throughout the Middle East and N Africa. While India is on its list next.

IMS produces stereo, or - 'Holographic' video (much like 3D movies) but without the aid of glasses. The images are ideal for display of properties and 'walk-thrus' at trade fairs, product presentations and advertising kiosks at public spaces, informed an official release.

The 3D effect is made possible using special 3D plasma screens developed by X3D Technologies. The X3D display is unrivalled in its ability to stage powerful advertising messages on flat-panel plasma and LCD screens. Global brands and retailers realise significant revenue growth generated from the holographic-like 3D images produced on state-of-the-art digital signage.

Another area that Immersive Media’s technology has come into focus, is 3D color processing for television and film. This proprietary process is able to produce full color 3D movies viewable on DVD and analog television with cost-effective paper glasses readily available throughout the world, said the release.

Immersive Media has a technology tie-up with at least one production house in India to process their content for broadcast on a soon to be released TV serial. With this the company hopes to offers the service on a non-exclusive basis to other production studios wishing to produce full color videos in 3D for dynamic impact. This new process has proven to produce better colour and depth effect than the recent 3D movies on DVD from Hollywood.

Immersive Media's 3D technology platform can be adapted for print, television and mini-cinemas and is aptly suited for drawing attention by is very uniqueness.
