End-to-end broadcast solutions provider Encoda Systems has announced the launch of Broadcast Master. This is the first Windows PC-based broadcast management system to encompass all aspects of a television station business -- traffic, sales, and operations -- from planning to playout. Broadcast Master increases workflow efficiencies by integrating previously disparate tasks and information into one solution using a central database.

Encoda issued a release stating that Broadcast Master punctuates its long-term, ongoing commitment to tailoring services for its clients' dynamic needs. Broadcast Master's innovations are direct results of the close relationships the company has with the industry's largest and most successful organisations. The company claims to have developed a true 'closed-loop' solution, addressing the needs of broadcasters to manage all prospecting, sales, planning and commercial processes.

From Customer Relationship Management (CRM) that leverages partnerships with companies like One Domain and Salesnet, to web-based reporting and management tools, the Broadcast Master solution increases the station operational efficiencies, and contributes to overall revenue maximisation. Sales executives and the management can easily access mission-critical customer and prospect information via a simple web browser and Internet connection, and up-to-the-minute information is maintained through intelligent integration and synchronisation with the core database adds the release.

The Broadcast Master solution was developed using the latest Microsoft technology, including .NET and SQL Server, and runs solidly on the latest Windows operating system platform. It claims to provide an extremely manageable and flexible operational environment. The open architecture provided by SQL allows users to integrate with third party software, including common desktop applications such as Microsoft Excel. This ability streamlines daily tasks such as data-mining and manipulation.
