Norsat International has announced that Dynamic Engineers purchased an additional 350 Norsat Very Small Aperture terminal (VSAT) transceivers. The transaction was done in the second phase of an ongoing project totalling $1.5 million to date.

The transceivers are being used as part of a programme to deliver broadband communications to remote regions in China. Dynamic Engineers is an international electronic component distributor specialising in RF communication packages that first started employing the Norsat transceivers in their broadband VSAT terminals in 2001.

An official release informs that this order represents the ongoing growth in the Asian broadband VSAT market. Norsat International designs and markets satellite products for high-speed data transmission, including the Norsat OmniLink group of portable satellite terminals for application in remote or hostile environments.
