Phillips India has introduced the Phillips 21RF-DVD TV. This concept combines the best features of Philips DVD entertainment along with high performance Philips Flat Screen TV.

Philips claims to be enjoying a very strong position in the audio and video segment. The company has predicted that the consumer electronics industry will ride high on convergence. Therefore the company is looking to be the trendsetter in this area as well. An official release informs that one of the first categories to witness this trend will be the colour television segment.

The features of Philips 21RF-DVD include a black matrix real flat tube that enhances picture performance. There is also anti-reflecting coating, Eye-Fi Plus, to prevent straining of eyes and Signal Boosting Technology to provide better picture performances under all signal conditions.

As far as sound is concerned it offers 300 Watts PMPO with a four speaker system. It also offers Digi Real Audio and DigiBass. There is also a 13-mode digital sound control for one button customisation.

The product claims to reduce the hassles of the messy cables, speaker placements or allocating space for additional DVD players or an AV receiver. The full home theatre experience has been carefully distilled into a user-friendly package that can be enjoyed in both the living room and the bedroom and with only one remote control to a wireless home cinema. The release adds that when it comes to entertainment products consumers prefer multi-features all combined in one design making it user compliant and easy to use.
