Communications company Acterna has announced the renewal of an annual contract with end-to-end telecommunications solutions providers Alcatel on 25 March.

An official release says optical transport, access and cable network test and management solutions provider Acterna will deliver an entire range of testing and measuring solutions to sub-sea optical and intelligent network system Alcatel.

Under the terms of the contract, Acterna will provide a wide range of support in its core network segments, including: optical transport, cable, access, data/ internet protocol, and wireless technology. The partnership will help Acterna to optimize this business partnership worldwide and allow Alcatel to benefit from Acterna's communications test innovation and uniform commercial terms for all of Alcatel's subsidiaries globally, adds the release.
